Our lives today are fast and stressful. Seldom do we get a chance to rejuvenate and relax. Lack of exercise and an overload of stress has resulted in many health issues. Acne is one of the most annoying problem most of us face daily. Haven’t we all woken up with an angry little bump on our foreheads on the day of an important meeting? Something as simple as an 8-hour beauty sleep can help you relax. A good night’s sleep helps the body to repair itself and you wake up looking as radiant as ever.
2. Don’t stress it out!
Stress is a leading cause of pimples. A happy mind equals glowing skin. Meditation helps relieve tension and results in a calm state of mind.
3. Drink at least 8 glasses of water
Drinking water helps the body to detox. The harmful waste material is flushed out of your system. A clean system naturally results in clear skin.

Well, I agree this is a little difficult to stick to. However, cutting down on the oily junk does go a long way for your well being. Try including garlic, honey, lemon, cucumber and papaya in your diet for that extra glow on your skin. These foods are known to keep pimples at bay.
5. White toothpaste
White non-gel toothpaste when applied overnight on the pimple helps reduce swelling and redness. Sometimes, the toothpaste can be mixed with lemon or baking soda for better effects.
6. Steam and applying Benzoyl Peroxide
Steaming your face gently helps open up pores. After this, apply a cream of Benzoyl Peroxide. This will relieve the pimples.
7. Aloe vera gel
Aloe vera gel is known to work wonders for the skin. Apply it evenly all over your skin to get rid of acne and scarring.
8. Ice treatment
Take a few ice cubes in a piece of cloth and apply it to the infected area for about 10 minutes. The pimples will shrink.
9. Exfoliate and wash your skin
Regular exfoliation helps clean out pores. This helps the skin to breathe and rejuvenate. Washing your face just twice a day can cause a massive improvement in your skin. This helps reduce the oil accumulated and thus prevents pimples.
Oily skin is one of the major causes of acne. Moisturise regularly to keep it hydrated. When the skin is hydrated less oil is produced, thus, protecting you from acne.
We must remember however that pimples are a very common occurrence and not something to be worried about. Popping a pimple must be avoided at all costs. This may cause further pimples to appear and in worst cases cause irreversible scarring. Everybody has a unique skin type, we must choose what best works for us through trial. Also, each face looks beautiful when wearing a smile!
